DPJC: Refugee Support and Resettlement Project - 2023

The Dallas Peace & Justice Center recruits volunteers and raises funds to help resettle newly-arrived refugees and start their new lives in North Texas. We furnish and set up their new apartments, stock their pantries, meet them at the airport and escort them to their new homes, where a warm “welcome meal” is waiting. We provide household and personal hygiene supplies, clothing, school supplies, books, toys and other necessities to ease their resettlement and support them in integrating and thriving in their new communities.
