Sharing an invitation for an important event this evening (October 22nd) from the Dedman College Interdisciplinary Institute at SMU.
"We have brought together an panel of experts (journalist Jim Schutze, Dallas Deputy Mayor Pro Tem and City Council Member Adam Bazaldua, City Council Member Carolyn King Arnold, and SMU Law Professor Dr. Thomas Leatherbury) to discuss the Dallas City Charter amendments that are on the ballot, as well as the history of efforts to change the Charter and the impact of these efforts on Dallas communities. We will have simultaneous Spanish translation available as well.
We will have food and drinks available starting at 6:00 pm and the program will start at 6:30. The event takes place at the Juanita Craft Recreation Center located at 4500 Spring Ave, Dallas, TX 75210 and is free and open to the public."
