Meeting at City Hall: Santos Rodriguez Memorial: Wed., Aug. 22 at 9:00am.

This is yet another follow-up meeting regarding plans for a memorial for Santos Rodriguez. Hadi Jawad and others will be speaking on behalf of having this be a city-wide project, not something that is only being funded through District 2. As Soraya Coli has pointed out in her post below, we need to convince council members of other districts to allocate funding. Phones calls ahead of time and the physical presence of community members at these meetings are crucial.
