Have you experienced harassment or been hurt by the police, school officers, or a DART officer?
Let your voice be heard: There are many victims of police brutality in the Dallas metroplex area, victims that have suffered in silence with no voice or validation, until now!
The 2nd Annual Clinton R. Allen Youth Speak Out, hosted by Mothers Against Police Brutality, is in honor of Clinton Allen who was murdered on March 10, 2013 by Dallas policeman Clark Staller. Clinton was unarmed and shot 7 times underneath his arms, and once in the back. Clinton Allen was only 25 years old.
Have you wondered what you might have done if you'd been around during the Civil Rights movement? Or if you had been active, what is your role today? We are in the midst of the modern Movement to End Police Brutality. Here's an opportunity to get involved.
ALL ARE WELCOME!
Please register if you plan to attend. It will assist us with the catering count. And to show our appreciation, the first 100 to register will receive a free #IAMCLINTONALLEN shirt!

Also:
Ever wonder what happens after the #hashtags stop trending, and the officer isn't indicted? The brilliant attorney Daryl Kevin Washington will be sharing updates on Clinton R. Allen's case.
Sadly, harassment is so normal that we don't even think of it as an abuse of power. Anthony Eiland and Nigel H. Redmond of the Redmond, Eiland, Guidry & Davis PLLC, The Crash Money Team will give a "Know Your Rights" presentation so that we know what to do when interacting with police.
Ed Turner and Elevating After School Youth have generously donated a DELICIOUS lunch for us to enjoy. Come hungry! Your mind, body, and spirit will be nourished.
