A Special Event: "Crossing the Line" with Sarah Towle

Reception: 6:00 pm

Presentation: 7:00pm

Sarah Towle, is the author of Crossing the Line: Finding America in the Borderlands.

Brownsville-Matamoros - January, 2020
There were more than 3,000 asylum seeking immigrants camped in Matamoros at the time.  Sarah Towle, an American journalist living in London, was researching immigration along the border. This research was made into the book Crossing The Line for which she has been on a book tour since June - it’s available in print, and on Audible and is now going into its second printing.

The Unitarian Universalist Church of Oak Cliff's Social Justice Ministry & the Human Rights & Justice Committee of the Dallas Peace & Justice Center are co-hosting this opportunity for Sarah to share her experiences and observations of the situation on our southern border. Please visit her website for more details: https://sarahtowle.com/
